i'm out in the jungle, I'm hungry to hear you

Anyone else notice how, upon repeated listenings, "The Boy With The Arab Strap" becomes indistinguishable from Paul Simon's "Why Don't You Write Me?" (I aim this particularly toward [livejournal.com profile] _abulafia, the one person who has assuredly been hearing TBWTAS as many times as I have this week...)

And more importantly: has anyone heard from [livejournal.com profile] ptpatricia lately?

SEE!

I am commencing S3 ep 4. Lindsey is reasonable! Like Susan! Still. *grumbles*

When the first series was posted, I was refreshing the page ten times a day, and planning meals around the new episode.

But this new series! I can't be bothered! I am still on episode three.

I know, it is a SAD SAD DAY when Penny is the most compelling character.

I'm just hanging on because she promised Andrew Lincoln is COMING. But I want SUSAN AND JENNY BACK. I bet we can't even secretly hope that they'll be in series 4 with any real plausibility. *sigh*

Jonathan Creek, "The Three Gamblers"

Hey, just as I was reading your comment, there was an accidental Nina Sosanya sighting happening in another window.

Awes.

I haven't heard from PTP in an age. She seems to respond better to e-mail than LJ, though. I don't know that she ever checks here.

That'd be me. LJ insists on logging me out.

(I want to vid Teachers to this song, but I don't have the experience or the disk space! Are there any vidders out there who are fans this series??)

I have the technology! :: dum dum dummm :: We could do it...together? I mean, I could try and cut and assemble and you can tell me what you envision? &c?

What was she up to when you last heard from her? I lost track of her when she left LA, and I've been thinking about her and worrying about her because she hasn't surfaced in a while.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_abulafia/ 2006-11-18 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
Man, that sounds... complicated. But, if you're up for it? Mostly I just envision fancy editing, and Simon on his bicycle.

(This song has such a strong downbeat. I think it is the perfect vidding song!)

It was just a normal conversation about books and stuff. She was re-doing the condo that they'd bought and was fine.

The erewyn address worked last time I checked. You should write her.

Well, if you go through and figure out the clips you want, I can put 'em together for you, sure thing! I agree, it's a great song for vidding, and I love Simon on his bicycle in his red jacket. AND we could use lots of MONDAYs and THURSDAYs and so on. It'd be kickin', no?

[identity profile] iamsab.livejournal.com 2006-11-18 10:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you didn't actually see her? Gotcha. Yes, I will e-mail, thank you.
