Wow, this was tremendous. Your voices are dead-on, and man, writing Geoffrey and Darren equally well is an amazing achievement in and of itself, but that's the only way this works, because they both need to be at their best (and worst), and bring that out in each other. The concept--Darren "discovering" Geoffrey--isn't something I really would have bought if it had been mentioned in passing, but I completely buy it here, and with both of them, you can see both what they could have been and what they're going to become. And Oliver is wonderful, too, and I love that you give Geoffrey's quote from the funeral to him here. Perfect. Wow. *applauds vigorously*
