Sad but true: Keith decided to push for this himself.
He reminded everyone that the #1 rule of journalism is that the journalist only covers the story, never becomes it, and the instant he became the story, he had to step out.
So I can respect that. I'm just upset.
On the bright side, he will most certainly be there on election/debate nights, and may in fact be freer to voice his opinion since he'll be on as a "commentator."
