I'm pleased to see you flist is already selling you on Sanctuary. I *love* it. It's good ol' cheesy scifi goodness. Something about their lack of budget really brings out the best in the show - the stories are more character centric than spaceships blowing up and stuff. And they seem to have chosen all the really good actors from SGA (and you can also play spot the BSG and Highlander actors - which is fun) and made really good characters out of them (I think AT's accent is fine. It doesn't grate on me at all. It's a little peculiar - but at least it's consistent. Her accent was a heck of a lot better than Jim Byrnes'). Then there's this whole crazy backstory about how Helen and her gang used to mess around with weird science experiments at Oxford and that's got some *serious* (read: awesome!) fallout (and it's possible they were all screwing - just saying). I really enjoyed watching it - and more people should appreciate that good scifi can come on a budget.
