Mary Sue links

Hey, so, something's everywhere on the Internet till you go looking for it, and my bookmarks are so newly reinvented as to be anemic. SOOOO.

Anyone have links to the good Mary Sue essays of fandom? The "is my character a Mary Sue" checklists, the essays on how to avoid Mary Sueism, the essays that describe common types of Mary Sues, blah blah coelecanth? I'll take anything and everything -- from the comedic to the really sharp and clever -- that you've seen or written or collected over the years. In the words of Leeloo: PLAYSE HALP.

[I'm doing a freelance job for a plebian (non-fandom person, sweet Moses in the morning!) and I'm trying to teach her about Mary Sueism. Also these are good essays to have in my Fandom bookmarks folder between "Luke Skywalker is Gay" and "10 Highlander Fanon Peeves."]

There's a lot of what you're looking for in this post over Making Light way:
Namarie Sue

Hope this is useful. Coelecanth?

I'd check Tara O'Shea's site at ljconstantine.com. She's got an essay or two somewhere.

Check out Kielle's things at subreality.com -- something there you're bound to like. I'm esp. fond of Kielle's own "Nine Men and A Little Lady".

Okay, and here are some more links off subreality. Ki hasn't updated in a while so no idea if links are still working.
