Golden? Christie Golden?

So David Tennant has a stalker, who, quote-unquote, writes bizarre sci-fi versions of Hamlet, featuring herself as Ophelia and David as a futuristic Hamlet. She insists that both the Doctor and Hamlet are aliens in a hostile universe, who are terrified of being alone..

There but for the grace of the Tardis, financial straits, and probably that bit about the harassing and the crude drawings, go I?

Still. Peers around. This is one of you, ain't it? Come on, 'fess.

If I watched DW, that would probably be me.

Actually, I still kind of suspect it's me, in some kind of fugue state. :)

Holy crap, David really is the Doctor?

How cool! I want to stalk him now too!

oh I saw his first episode of Doctor Who the other day. it was charming!

embrace your incredible sanity E! You have not rented a house in Stratford nor have you left your husband for him.

Oh! You will appreciate this, and it's oddly (in)appropriate for this post, too.

My family were in England two weeks ago, and I got a frantic text message from my mom saying that they were staying at the same hotel as David Tennant! Apparently he smiled at my nephew (and who wouldn't, my 2-year-old nephew is adorable) and, I just found out yesterday...my sister got him to autograph a magazine for me.

I laughed and laughed.

what kind of magazine? something relevant or just, you know, Harper's Bazaar. That would have been cool.

Ha! No, it actually was a magazine that had his picture on the front. Some comics magazine or something.

I was reading the Tennant_Love reaction post to this news, because I was curious about the fan reaction. The consensus was that this woman was definitely crazy, but the reason they'd determined her to be crazy wasn't because she was writing sci-fi Hamlet Mary Sue fic -- it was that she wanted to show it to David Tennant. So as long as you don't want David Tennant to see your sci-fi Mary Sue fic, you're doing just fine. I was glad to discover exactly where the line was drawn.

I think I'd draw the line later... I mean, Mary Sue fic's a little batty. wanting to show it to him is battier but not insane. the line for me is possibly the leaving her husband and renting an apartment across the street from him...

dangermouse!crazy

I think I'd probably draw it even later... Mary Sue fic, batty but whatever, wanting to show it to him, batty but sort of understandable, moving across the street, impulsive but not insane esp. if one is an eccentric millionnaire...leaving her husband for a celeb, okay, sort of crazypants but probably their relationship was screwed up before this... but mostly, harassing production staff, leaving pencil drawings, proposing marriage to David himself, I think that is where we venture into dangermouse!crazy across the line from merely superintense!fannish!crazy.
