just like a pill

an SNK birthday medley:

keep on Shana in the free world! like a Shaaaaana over trouble waaaters... in a New York Shana, whoa-oh-oh, everything can change... you are my Shana, my only Shana... Danke Shana, darling danke Shana.... what would we doooo baby, without us...Sha-na-nah Shana....

.ahem.

at work. Doing math. Took nearly a half hour to calculate overtime based on AFTRA day rates. and that was with a calculator.

Lennier continues to plod along, though he's not responding to my "this is your big scene! Feel!" pleas, and therefore he's stalled just before his, ahem, Big Scene. and then again, I'm not out of the intro yet and already this sucker's 80k.

.gimme a joint, I'll get stoned with AK and we'll watch bad space movies. Because, bad space movies.
.gimme a coffee maker, gimme a phone charger, a $20
.I'm IMming these days as makikosab, and out of half my brain, Jess (STyounger) and G are the cutest people I know.
.Genius Danny will be a novel. novel-length. That's novel.
.damn you, Zendom! [on edit: this being said with all the affection in the world, and also damning Dan, Casey and the SN world in the same breath. grumblegrumble novel length grumble]

Feeling altogether like another person, in G's skull socks and big grey pants. This is me with a job, baby, this is me in grade nine.

Polly wanna cracker.

Why do you damn zendom, please? Are we doing something to offend you? I hope not. Or am I reading too much into a random comment?

nooo! Simply damning Zendom and the cadre of poolboys for this novel-length restriction which is eating my brain. I am cursing Sports Night for its lack of appropriate submissions and generally needing more Danny and Casey, now that Zendom reminded me to go a-lookin'.

I suppose I should say, damn SN fandom! Damn Danny and Casey for being so very seductive! Damn me for getting so distracted!

damn damn damn.

I need pie.

this is me in grade nine

I know the actual words to this song, but all I can think of now is, "You're what?" "Tin roof rusted." I wonder what that means.

[identity profile] wearemany.livejournal.com 2002-04-11 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
okay, i'm a freak. but i'm almost positive that "tin roof rusted" is southern for impossible. in particular, for reasons i don't remember, i want to say it has to do with pregnancy, as in, that's how likely it is you'd be pregnant, or something like that.

it's possible i've just conflated about six different misunderstandings of the break in that song into one. but. i think?

this warrants the dork!icon.

Older says: "it's nonsense. People SAID it meant someone is pregnant, but they were talking shit. I've seen actual articles on these things, people, trust me. 'tin roof rusted' is not a southernism for pregnant.

'losing my religion' *is* a very archaic way of saying you're freaked out and pissed, though."

Ohboy. Hearts will be a breakin'. Because when Sab writes big she kills the world.

Lookout. Me, I'm heading for the fallout shelter.

And hey! on the job. I'm dodging flamewars on ATF. heh.

Punk said, "oh no, this is gonna be like 'Everybody Having a Good Time' except in space. And with slash."

heh. Though I'm pretty sure most people stay alive in this thing. Except maybe for Joan of Arc. she might die.
