My ears perked up at the mention of a House/Wilson zombie apocafic, and I was briefly (but wrongly, as it turns out) certain that I'd seen it on the election avoidance comm formerly known as la_la_la_2004 and recently renamed ostrich_2008.

However, even though I struck out on H/W, poking back through the zombie fics posted during the 2004 election was still more than worthwhile because it led me to reread The Reverse of the Hammock by jonquil, which in my opinion is both the best zombie fic and the best Master and Commander fic ever written. It's no small compensation.
