So then I said, no, there's absolutely no way I'm packing it in and moving in with my parents, I just built bookshelves for chrissake, there's gotta be a better way.

So I placed an ad and folks are looking at the downstairs, and that'll relieve a bit of the financial burden, and then there's the bit where I talk to

melymbrosia and maybe we bail each other out a little (M, are you around?), and there's the bit where I sell stuff and whore myself for any job that'll take me, and it's a new year, it's 2003 after all, so I'm going to get to a place where I can afford to pay my rent and feed myself and hell, I'm going to open a bank account, because I ain't had one of those things since JUNE and it's PATHETIC I tell you, so anyway, that's all I have to say about that.

I'm reading Stephen King/Peter Straub's The Talisman and it is indeed good. Gonna read this book about elephants next.
