I can't go see The Squid and the Whale. I can't even watch that arc on Sex and the City with Ron Livingston in, because I can't handle the anguish of one writer envious of another writer. That pain is JUST TOO GREAT TO BEAR. And I'd do almost anything for Ron Livingston.

Oh, I don't hate them! I'm just disinterested in anglophilia! I have enough to worry about here in United States; I never saw the draw in getting all moony over the folks who used to colonize us.

I've been thinking of hewing that "disinterests" list into things I am genuinely simply DISINTERESTED in, like daytime television or crushed velvet, vs. things I hate with piss and vinegar, like George W. Bush and people who can't admit when they're wrong.

You know, this merits further analysis. Thanks for asking.
