she's decided Communism doesn't really work. as for me, I mostly wish the movers would hurry up and bring me my stuff so I can move in to my new place in Brooklyn. until then, I remain, as always, Sab in New York. and this is my new LiveJournal.

I'm at that peculiar place where I *have* an apartment, see, and I *have* stuff, see, but my stuff's in storage somewhere in Manhattan and my apartment is bare in Brooklyn. which is to say that I'd be sleeping at home if I only had a bed, but instead I'm at my parents' house in the suburbs, which is, you know, different.

three years I spent living way the hell on the other coast, so this is New Business, what with the "hey honey somebody want to go pick up bagels?" and also "clean your room" which altogether makes me feel like I'm on some sort of sitcom. Not bad though. I'll have more perspective when the movers show up with my bed (tomorrow?).

all of which is by way of saying that next time you see me I'll be at my own computer in my own house with my own bowls and chopsticks.

And Helen was right about AI, and Liz was too.
