Over at [livejournal.com profile] fan_the_vote, I'm offering both fic and LJ icons to the cause of Kerry's campaign or MoveOn. I'll take a reasonable amount of requests and then close for bidders because I don't want to bite off more than I can fannishly chew. But for my country and my party, I can do 500 words of just about anything. That said --

Fic

I'll write any character, any pairing, any rating from the following fandoms: Babylon 5, Firefly, Buffy, Sports Night, X-Files, Farscape, Star Trek: TNG, DS9, VOY, Jeremiah, Band of Brothers, M*A*S*H

If you request a character, scenario, or pairing: $5 per 500 words, will take bids up to 1500 words.

If you just wanna request a fandom (and expect me to do the heavy lifting *g*): $10 per 500 words.

See examples of my fic here.

Icons

If you provide a cap and text: $1 per still icon, $2 per animated icon.

If you just wanna suggest a fandom/celeb/concept: $2 per still icon, $3 per animated icon.

See examples of my icons here.

Death came for him through the trees.

Having created the ultimate story of Batman's final phase as a crimefighter, Miller steps back to reconceive Bruce Wayne's first year in Gotham City, his creation of the Batman persona, and commissioner Gordon's first year as police lieutenant.

"Uh -- no! Over three hundred thousand categories and maybe a dozen words to define each one?" It would soon be on t-shirts with Brahms and Beethoven. After a while I went out and left the hospital and walked back to the hotel in the rain.

1. Take five books off your bookshelf. These five were here on my bed with me.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence The Man Who Never Missed, Steve Perry
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty How to Read Superhero Comics And Why, Geoff Klock
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred Time Enough For Love, Robert Heinlein
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty The Fork River Space Project, Wright Morris
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book A Farewell to Arms, Ernest Hemingway
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph.
