I really, really need the "Until the End of the World" director's cut DVD. They've been flirting with it for years, I heard in March it was only going to be released on R2 (European) DVD format, then I read industry gossip from March that said it's been reformatted for R1 (US & Canada) and I don't really care what region DVD it is, but hell, I really need it. Amazon has a pre-order thing, or at least an "e-mail you when we have it" thingy, and Google promises me industry scuttlebutt that says "the beginning of next year" but I don't know what that means and I need this DVD.

I don't even have a DVD player.
