Well fuck, this is a wonderful story, but I'm...fuck. The detail I like the best is of course the caffeine shortage. And Kate dying? It gets me every time, you know? I really, really like her character. Reading this right after reading a book about the flu epidemic of 1918 is also pretty enlightening, with a side of scary, and I adore that Abby cries about it all, because she would.
