Sep. 24th, 2003 11:14 pmI'm working on the West Wing spec, as it's my first night home in three and FBC and Ed are nothing if not inspirational. Something about their tiny furry brains makes me want to get work done. Probably so I can feed them.
Then again, the three nights out were good, and I learned a little about myself. For example, I kick ass at Playstation's "Soul Calibur II" despite the fact that I don't know what a Calibur is or why destiny arranged that these two Japanese people needed to kick one another's asses with big sticks or gigantic axes.
I'm working on two problems here, as dad would say, the Important and the Urgent. Important is the one where I need to find a full-time job, but, oddly, things seem to be surfacing despite my history of bad luck [quit laughing! No, seriously, quit it. HUSH!] in that department. Despite the economy being what it is. I think there's a good chance for this one.
The Urgent is the one where rent's due in a week. And no job I start will fork over a chunk of cash in time. To that end: anybody want a swanky Power Mac G4 Desktop full of all sorts of schmancy expensive software and so on? I have it listed on Craigslist but as yet no responses -- I should put it on eBay, probably. But I wanted to offer it here first, goin' cheap, full of goodies, Photoshop and Quark XPress and Movie Magic Screenwriter all installed, and games, and a CD/DVD drive and a ZIP drive and also an external CD-RW drive included and it's a lovely grey-blue color. October rent approacheth!
Tips, advice, lobotomies, all gratefully accepted at the below hotline.
PTP and I watched the West Wing tonight. That's all I have to say about that. Oh, also that I have a sundress with rhinoceroses on.
