So how much do merryish's cats look like my cats? A lot, is the answer. A Lot. (ETA: merryish is moving to Chicago, also, so any Windy City people who are fond of FBC and Ed should transfer that affection, as appropriate, onto Merry's incoming cats, thus assuring her a safe and exciting move to a new and MEOW! friendly city. Because the truth is I know a hell of a lot of cats in Chicago. HEP cats, even.)

I'm at work now. I'm watching Sex and the City. This is mostly how it is. I need things to make my office look more like an office and less like a storage closet. Though if the Business Affairs people got their storage out it'd be a start.

Two days in and I'm quite enjoying myself. And I don't have a couch (insert obligatory wearemany envy, OH, and ALSO, I meant to say, SNK, G was right, it DOES matter) but I have three chairs.

Sarah Jessica Parker ate a cupcake from Magnolia, though. A pink one. And for a minute I wanted to be in New York. And I miss furies.

I owe e-mail to both prillalar and runpunkrun and that will happen this week too.

But seriously, folks. Merry's cats are the Joey Tribbiani Hand Twins of Furby and Ed. Don't even try to deny it.

I TRIED TO CALL YOU. you did not answer. i don't even know if it was your phone. there was some strange woman telling me the number i called. i was sad and then fell asleep. but it's almost the end of october, which means it's close to the end of november and then you will be HERE and that will wonderful.

You fell off my phone~! But then, I'm at work and on the 42nd floor and sometimes it cuts out, plus mostly it's a stupid AT&T connection. But what I WILL do is call you, from work, tomorrow. Because I have to finish this episode and then run into a meeting and then EAT. But maybe later tonight, otherwise tomorrow -- what time?

I shall call you tomorrow from work at 4ish. I lost signal AGAIN in the car and then had to come home and console my dear PTP.

Ed is as sprightly as ever, though they both had fleas so neither of them is too thrilled with me, what with all the spraying and the combing. They're picking up all sorts of fun things now that they're outdoor cats. They spend a lot of time under the house, where, you know, evil lurks.

thank you both for the clarification. i thought for a while there i was right, or G was right, that having a COUCH matters, and anyway i have a lot of fabulous pillows but no good couch to speak of and then i realized you meant my OFFICE COUCH, which always makes me think of toby. to sum up: my opinion matters and my office has a cool couch. previously, on sab's lj.
