sabI'm alive. I'm in Brooklyn. my god, thank you so much to everyone who worried about me and cared about me, and I'm glad that all of us (that I know of) in NY seem to be accounted for, Viridian, Laura Ellen, Shana, Melymbrosia.
I can't really talk now. I can still see the smoke from here, and I'm still not really sure this is happening.
but I'm watching the E! true hollywood story of Mackenzie Phillips, because it's the only other thing on TV and I can't watch the news.
I'm okay, though, but the worst, the absolute worst was hearing Brian Williams on MSNBC say: "and it's only going to get worse in days to come."
I shudder with every passing plane, I can't stop shaking.
I have zero interest in knowing how bad it can get.
