Okay, so I've gathered my stray and wandering VHSs and have somewhat arbitrarily assigned them to recipients as follows, and I've got addresses on many of you, so just sit back and relax and the tapes shall arrive:

Babylon 5 Season 4 -- mazily
Jeremiah -- chr0me_kitten and ealgylden (iffen you send me your address? Also, innogen, if you can organize a tape tree, count me in.)
M*A*S*H -- ngaio (postage to the UK should run about $20 slow media boat, how's that?)
All the Star Treks I can shake a stick at -- seemag (esp. if you send me your address)
X-Files seasons 6 or 7 -- seemag (see above)
X-Files Season 5 -- bionic (pls. send address, yo)
X-Files Season 3 -- chr0me_kitten

Now. I've done a little more tallying, and I've still got plenty of VHSs that could use appreciative families willing to adopt.

• Babylon 5, season 5 (mostly), on about 12 "official" cassettes.
  
• Most of The West Wing season 1 and 2 on four or five cassettes.
  
• Assorted Sports Night cassettes from across both seasons.
  
• Any specific Star Trek DS9 or VOY ep you're looking for (that seemag doesn't want. Just chime in; we'll work it out.
  
• Same could be said for M*A*S*H -- if you're looking for a specific episode or two, I will poach it from ngaio's set or find a duplicate -- I have many, many duplicates.
  
• The Freaks and Geeks pilot; academy screener version.
  
• The Wonderland pilot (maybe! I need to look a little.) taped off TV.
  

No postage necessary if mailed in the United States and you're receiving fewer than five cassettes. US postage probably runs, oh, a buck a cassette after that. I like slow truck and cheap, so we can work something out no problem, and even an assload of twenty or twenty-five tapes won't cost more than $13 ground. So.

Movies are next.

I was thinking of setting up a wee little fserve in irc for people who can burn their own vcd and svcds. Others need tapes. I have to convert one xvid . That XVID--I swear...easier to copy to tape than to convert. No energy for Tape Tree...must sleep. You are the first person who has even responded. The other thing I could do is setup an ftp server...my house-mate has a firewall...and I don't know all the setting. I can work on it. Tapes in the meantime.
