Meanwhile, it's possible there's folks who haven't read Dale (viggorlijah) Edmonds' Space Oddity, because I hadn't. And now I have and OH it's terrifying and beautiful.

A Harry/Draco post-war that gave me legitimate chills, where the magic dies first and the chickens die later and even Filch is fragile.

They don't get the newspapers anymore. Nothing comes through the wards, nothing leaves, and the Owlery is quiet. They ate Hedwig last, after Fawkes. Dumbledore still sleeps or dies slowly, and Draco vomits what owl soup he had managed to keep down, his ribs shaking with the effort.
