Five things for me!

Okay, everyone, go read selenak's The Satanic Verses, aka Five Things Which Never Happened Between Kira and Dukat.

I challenged her to write the pairing, and she came back with a thrust, parry, touche. And while I might sympathize with Dukat more than Selena does on an everyday basis, you'll find in these stories you're able to sympathize with both Kira and Dukat alternately. They're also astonishingly true to canon, written in a sharp, wry, seductive voice that's worthy of the chemistry between Kira and Dukat. A few character death warnings, for those of the squickish, but as far as five things that never happened go -- I could, without a second's trouble, easily see these things never happening to Kira and Dukat. Never happening, yet 100% in character, all around.

A marvelous read -- five biggish drabbles, mostly -- for anyone who liked DS9 or even vaguely remembers DS9 and simply thinks the characters are sexy. Which they are, and Selena spares no pains there either. READ. Everyone.

Man, that Selena bitch can write. *g*
