sabToday's that holiday known commonly as Icon-Maker Appreciation Day, but which shall live on in infamy around these parts as I Got A Present From ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kormantic Day!. I got all sorts of things that are greenish, and things to play with, and now I'm wearing an orange glowing anklet and eating RAINBLO gumballs, so, really. School's out, cats and kittens, it's a jolly holiday with Paresy!

'Course, it's still Icon-Maker Appreciation Day, so I feel it's my duty as an icon trawler and aniconspy to point out some of the fabulous artists among us. That said:
I've nabbed only shareable icons (and saved them to my own space so's not to hog bandwidth), so you should feel free to take these iffen you like 'em, but do credit the icon makers and take a trip to their LJs to tell them so.
_jems_ makes damn beautiful squares. She also invented the pan-and-scan animation technique that's taken off like wildfire, but me, I love this one:
saava may think she's in a slump, but we know she'll hit the ground running and sprinkle our LJs with stuff of beautifuliciousness, like so:
indilime has her icon journal at teh_indy, and I love her deep, bold colors and ferocious text:
xintothewestx has done some amazing things with the Harry Potter trailer, look!:
grass_stained makes crisp, clear, sunny icons that aren't Just Like Everyone Else's:
foggi's recent Buffy icons leave me seething with jealousy [this one's hers and therefore probably not shareable, though you could ask her]:
desdemona_x ain't just for screencaps, yo. All her sets are terrific; I've got a special fondness for her Firefly icons:
septicemic makes beautiful icons (and screencaps!) and knows just exactly what it is that we love about our Liebgott and his crinkly smile:
innerpoise has some of the best art on the 'net, and her wallpapers and collages are second to none. I picked this Buffy because it's all about irony but it packs a punch, too:
nullsechs knows more about color and composition in her little finger than the rest of us do in a lifetime. Or, um, something. Look!
