[livejournal.com profile] bonibaru declared today Random Poll Day, and, since this is a public school, I find I am compelled to honor any and all religious holidays or else the PTA will nail me for discrimination.

Therefore:

[Poll #273552]

Date: 2004-04-05 12:48 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] selenak.livejournal.com
You know, voting would be easier if the poll was accessible instead of just showing results...

From: [identity profile] iamsab.livejournal.com
How mysterious! How did that happen? It's -- kicking LJ. So you're getting result bars rather than radio buttons?

Date: 2004-04-05 01:09 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] iamsab.livejournal.com
Did you break my poll?

eyes Selena suspiciously.

It looks fine to me, aside from the fact that if I want to view the results *myself* I'll have to *vote,* which'll mean that I'll see results instead of radio buttons and then I won't be able to stick my tongue out at you anymore and tell you that it looks fine to me.

If you catch where I've drifted. *g*

Try logging back in as yourself?

I logged in, and then it worked. Should have done that the first time around. My bad. Sorry.

Well, I picked other Alanis, so I guess I'll close my eyes and point and say .... Precious Illusions 'cause I've got this great Anya(/Xander) vid to it and it makes me all sniffly and "Anya!" and "don't die!" and "I love you!"

Date: 2004-04-05 02:21 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] iamsab.livejournal.com
Heh, no problem, I had the same thing happen when I wasn't logged in, and I figured you'd been skulking around in someone else's clothes so I took a shot. *g*

Anya! I love Anya! Don't die! No more bunnies! I promise! Xander loves you! Stuff like that!

Also, that is a good song, so you get a gold star. I'm all for anything with invisible best friends in. *g*

I play Sam Seaborn (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sam_seaborn) and River (http://www.livejournal.com/users/bits_and_fluids) (who's currently behind, gah) in TM. Uh, poorly.

And my favorite Alanis song, at least currently, is "Flinch".

Also, hi.

I'm afraid I've become a TM slut. I play [livejournal.com profile] samwisegardener from LOTR, [livejournal.com profile] mistersmith_tm from Jeremiah and [livejournal.com profile] iolaus_lj from Hercules/Xena.

Very disappointing that Lemmy is not included in the god options.

*scolds* You want check-boxes for multiple answers. Babylon 5, Jeremiah, Firefly...*happy sigh of fangirl glee*

Also, I started playing in t_m, and discovered I was incapable of keeping up with it. (My fault, for putting myself down as [livejournal.com profile] zathras_no4. Not the easiest person to write for.)

Speaking of someone else's clothes - the tabloid has arrived!

It's a tie between the "I respect you for your patience and I applaud your perseverence" song and "I would be Good". No, I think it's the first. They're both on my top ten curl up and wish I were dead list, but I can't listen to them very often for that very reason.

Oh, and G'Kar's not even around to defend his honor; he'd be furious, too, he takes the press very seriously and probably doesn't understand the distinction between legitimate journalism and tabloid gossip. Poor idealistic Narn. *g*

Meanwhile, Dukat's trying to get Drusilla to make him into a vamp. She's being surprisingly difficult to persuade...

Date: 2004-04-05 09:10 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] selenak.livejournal.com
Well, Dru on both shows vamped (that we know of) precisely two people, Spike and Darla (after Darla's return from the dead courtesy of Wolfram &Hart - it's complicated). Killed lots more, but sired only these two. So she's lunatic, but discriminatory.*g*

Londo has already yelled at Morden about it and didn't believe him when M. said he had nothing to do with it. Will yet at lots more people. Regarding G'Kar's reaction - I can't make up my mind whether Londo should mention it or not. Probably not, since he figures it would only distract G'Kar from whatever dangerous thing G'Kar is doing right now.

That first one is on my hit parade already, yo: see, "Surrendering." It's my Farscape Scorpy/Crichton (Seriously accidentally wrote Scorpy/Draco, which either means I've been spending too much time with you or too much time on [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse) anthem and a damned good song.

You should give "The Couch" a try. It's my curl-up-and-wish-I-were-dead song, so, you know, if you're in the mood.

You're Zathras! I should have guessed. You should come back and play; the B5 universe is an insane psychotic mess of fannish bliss and could only be enhanced by the presence of some...underground furry twins. *g*

Check out Selena's link above; that's about the long and the short of it, lately...tabloid-style.

That article's just so good, you. LOVE it. And as for G'Kar, it looks like Damar has plans to talk to you about him in short order.

Consider it my token of gratitude for our hostess and for your absolutely irresistable G'Kar posts. (Dukat and Delenn weren't half-bad, either.*g*)

it is entirely possible that too much cj/toby in my formative years has warped my mind to the extent that i'm going to call "hands clean" my favourite alanis. yes.

A cover - sorry! - but I love her version of Uninvitated.

You should also have me down for Jeremiah (as you know) and Babylon 5 (I only wrote an entire ream of fanfiction in college--yikes).

I would if I had the strength to keep up with it all. I'm really not sure I have the time. I may start randomly posting in the journal again, though. I've been feeling like Zathras lately. (Besides, it's perfectly appropriate for Zathras not to know what the hell is going on. He never does. Poor Zathras.)

Hi! (oh, damn, in the wrong clothes for this part of town)

Anyway, you should get River over to [livejournal.com profile] serenity_tm, because if he can get Mal to agree, Dukat's going to join Serenity's crew.

I am laughing already.

Also, hi.

Love,
Sab
