Cast my vote over at the Fandom Escapist Elections, and after some long and hard consideration (and voting for some people, including Sam Beckett and Al, and Emperor Palpatine, and Columbo), I feel that, with my party of choice (that'd be the Von Trapps) unrepresented in this year's elections (due to a back-page scandal about some sort of alpine children's musical slave ring, I didn't get the details before the reporter shooed me out of the bullpen), it is my ideological choice to Vote Immortal.
The fact that There Can Be Only One aside, Duncan and Methos bring a certain wisdom to the office of Fandom-Escapist President, and will re-instate the much needed policy of Ritual Beheadings of the Evil, something that Fandom most desperately needs.
It's important to note that Mr. MacLeod is the man seeking office, while his associate Mr. Pierson prefers to remain behind the scenes, where he can more effectively focus on his Homeland Security Watcher-Watching Council. Having already served in an official elected post (Death, R-CA) for several hundred years, Mr. Pierson is adamant about maintaining a less public position this time around.
Mr. MacLeod, on the other hand, brings the office the kind of youthful enthusiasm only one who is several hundred years old can bring. Duncan is a hero, whose likes include Scotland, Beheading, and Goodness, and whose dislikes include Evil and people who make fun of his boat.
All of this is to say:
Vote Duncan/Methos (a ticket that is making a respectable showing over at the Elections, nearly neck and neck with front-runners Crowley/Aziraphale, Pinky/Brain, and Buffy/Faith), not Methos/Duncan (or Duncan will behead you).
And if given the opportunity for a write in, vote Von Trapp, for even Methos can't solve a problem like Maria.

I'm thinking Methos would be the one who'd behead you for making him stand out there in front and smile for the cameras. He's definitely much more into the Vice part of the ticket.

I'm now torn on choosing between Duncan/Methos and Exley/White. Both are dynamic and a wonderful combination of integrity/badass. Choices, choices ...
