Ethan Hawke made me take the W
Aug. 9th, 2001 01:43 pmthat and it was hot. It's unbelievably, inhumanly hot. Hot enough for me to stumble through the Times Square station and follow Ethan Hawke onto the W train. I didn't want the W, didn't want the NRQ at all. switched to the F at 34th street.
That was yesterday.
today I'm bleaching my hair white. Because it's Thursday and it's still hot and all the companies are on a hiring freeze till September, and I'll be broke then.
y, aqui, in the ghetto of my mind... I also feel a bit like that double-sided Kandinski. a bit like the James brothers or the Williams brothers or the Wright brothers or the one who knew how to make glass tubes. orbiting, sort of vaguely, off to the side, trying to be useful.
I'll take this peroxide now and burn my brain a little. and then when I'm done, I'll have lunch.
