truth in advertising
Aug. 16th, 2001 07:01 amthey may have found me a job in Advertising. "one more person convincing America its breath is bad?"
It's 7 am. woke up at 2, watched the sun rise on this side, for a change. That's new. still, it's those hours, just before dawn, that are my favorite. regardless of which side I'm on.
G and I giggled over how well we get it, all of this, all of us, because she's sensitive and I was scared but it turns out there might not need to be a fistfight over Jo after all. fabulous G of the windblown hair, who's gonna get her ass over here soon enough and make this all a little better for me.
and I haven't seen Shana in days.
But I'll take a shower now, breakfast maybe, get ready to face the day from this side. get shoes and a suit, go into Advertising. JS is in Poland visiting MZ, if it's Thursday. I should feel something about that. jesse said, "ah, the hard life of the artist with a trust-fund." that's probably about right. And when it comes down to it, I haven't spoken to MZ in years. Not that that's ever mattered before.
at my back door there's a porch light that's shining and I just don't mind living here by myself if I leave it on.
