Here's a rec, because I uncharacteristically actually read my fannish e-mail:

A Pretty War by Kyra Cullinan [Firefly, River/Kaylee/Simon]: RiverPOV, which is an astonishing feat in and of itself, and it's *good* River POV, and sort of sweet and sad and scary and coiled and powerful and frustrating and...sexy all at once. And because it turns out I'm actually reading Crazy Space Incest in this fandom, though this story is (disappointingly?) vague in that regard. Anyway. Read.

-- where my girl princessgolux (one of those people you come across in RL [Friendster, actually!], so to speak, only to learn later! and surprisingly! that they're fannishly inclined) has written some sort of epic dS/Sentinel XO series, with the latest installation being dS/Sen/MfU.

(Thanks to ptpatricia for correctly identifying that last acronym as Man from U.N.C.L.E., which, as runpunkrun pointed out, is more often called MUNCLE in our part of the world).

Trusting that the divine Ms. Golux (and not a Mere Device) is a fine and good writer, I'd love it if someone interested in those fandoms hopped over and gave the stories a read, and then let me know if they're any good.
