Oh god this is brutal! It's just a bit too believable for comfort, which I suppose is the sign of a good apocafic. I was doing OK til you crushed me at the end with Gibbs's (implied) death. You write a great Abby, and as someone else said, I like the subtlety of this piece in the midst of the end of the US.
