It's not that scary movies don't please me (even though sometimes they really don't) but I haven't seen a single one of those films. (Maybe that means that scary movies don't please me.) I would say that Red Eye is probably the scariest, anyway, because that's the one with Cillian Murphy, right? Boy is SCARY with his scary, scary eyes.
I have not yet seen any of these, but will be watching these poll results carefully to see what I should be renting. Because I love scary movies when they actually SCARE me, which happens so infrequently that sometimes I forget that I do, indeed, love them.
I think I was judging based on "do I want to watch it" rather than "would I be gnawing at my limbs in terror." that was probably a mistake. but I nearly died watching 28 days later. I liked it. but I thought I was going to die of suspense. I had to go out into the foyer and look around: "popcorn machine, man selling choc tops, toilet signs... no zombies. okay." and then go back in to watch the rest. sigh. and it wasn't even that scary a movie I think.
