So for the next couple hours I'll be bleaching the bathtub. While I'm gone, here's some things you can do!

First, spread a little love around the anonymous love meme. It's a nice thing to do!

Second. I am really sad about James Kim; you know how intensely I was following the story and what a strong connection I felt with the bloke. I am so proud of him for venturing out to save his family, and for tromping over ten miles in the snow and dark, hungry and thirsty, after spending nine days in a car. I'm proud of his wife and his kids for toughing it out, and Brian Anderson for spearheading such a passionate rescue mission. Go team Southern Oregon. And everybody just give a little of your brainspace, as most of you have already, for an awesome hero of a dad who gave his life to help his family in a crisis that could happen to any one of us on any average winter vacation.

And then third. For Torchwood folks. Let's call this an Open Drabble Thread post-TKKSuzie, Prompt The Obvious: 100 words of post-ep of the Jack/Ianto/stopwatch variety.

Andd...GO.

I still have no idea what the hell they were getting at with that stopwatch innuendo. It's totally possible that I'm just square and missing something, but does anyone really need a stopwatch to be able to say, "Let's have sex in ten minutes?" Is that a special stopwatch function?

(Also, I was convinced for a moment that I must be misreading that scene, because -- didn't Jack feed Ianto's one true love to a dinosaur a couple of episodes ago? I don't know if I'd want to have stopwatch sex with the guy who brutally killed my girlfriend, is all I'm saying. I guess the girlfriend-killing incident was a few months ago in Torchwood time, but still.)
