I'm ashing in an ashtray from Minden, Nebraska. I remember Minden, Nebraska. The world's oldest Buick is there. I took a picture -- of the sign, because to see the Buick itself seemed to cost $17.

It's 3:45 and I can't sleep and the shrink wouldn't see me today because I don't have a whatsitcalled, policy number for insurance and it's Friday already and I need a JOB.

But we were booking flights and apparently some people fly from Baltimore to DC which seems to me absurd but mostly I was thinking about this great big country and Travelocity that seems to think I live in Western Australia. I want to be in Western Australia. With Jo.

Five hundred miles of elbow room, they say. If I'm lucky Jo'll come east and marry me.
