Whenever Almost Killed Me came out a blogger I read regularly said it was her favorite album of the year. As Arcade Fire's Funeral was her second-favorite, and I have been kicking myself ever since then for not getting it at the time because it's now one of my top ten favorite albums, I've always had a guilty sense that I should look into these Hold Steady guys. I do have "Citrus" and "Hot Soft Light" -- a thank you for giving me a better starter set.
