It got better, yes. (Or maybe I just got used to it?) But still pretty frelling awful. I'm not sure why they made that choice -- the character doesn't particularly need to be English, or could have lost her accent over the centuries(handwaveAngelhandwave). Though I thought it was pretty damn funny when they cast Jim Byrnes as her father and his accent was even worse!
