I wanna be like [livejournal.com profile] infinitemonkeys! So, the thing, with the friends list, and the anonymous, and the list, and you have to figure out who you are, then.

1. Because you inspire writing envy, career envy, and real estate envy.

2. I love you for everything, but most especially for the bi-yearly occasions when you come over here and we talk all night and pass the bottle around.

3. I've adored your stuff in several fandoms, ever since that day I got an exclusive to rec your first West Wing story.

4. YOU. Are my hero. And even though we're miles apart, and some day, you and I are gonna drop it all and take this show on the road. Until then, I wish you happiness, health, and security...and time to write.

5. I owe you, probably, half a pack of cigarettes. Next show.

6. In the XF days, I used to be so intimidated by you, all BNF'n shit. Of course, it turns out you're awfully cool, and a damned good writer besides, so I'm glad I got to know you.

7. WE have a screenplay to write, baby girl.

8. You send the best presents and postcards ever. I owe you loads of mail, and probably a couple years of feedback on those excellent stories.

9. Don't go far, sister ADD insomniac and smut queen. I'm coming back to see you soon and we'll torment the cats.

10. I am enjoying your underpants.

11. I really enjoyed meeting you, and I'm sorry I've been such a slacker staying in touch. I owe you tapes, too.

12. You're brand-new to me, but we seem to like the same music, and certainly the same books, so I sure hope you'll stick around. *g*

13. You're new too, and I find your descriptions of married life fascinating, here in this dyke-y world.

14. You remind me of a little me, so I'm holding close by while you hold to the ground as the ground keeps shifting, because I know you'll turn out great.

15. You're doing better than I ever did, and I'm so impressed. When does your first pilot air?

16. Sweet and quiet and tough as nails. You're in a rough spot, and I wish nothing but the best for you.

17. To Wong Foo, thanks for everything, and get your ass back here pronto, my girl. You're the best new thing in my life.

18. You're slashy, warped, twisted, and a marvelous lyrical writer, in WW and elsewhere.

19. In answer to your question, I don't know where the good WW fic has gone. But as for the very best SN fic, one needs only to visit your webpage.

20. I was frightened by you too, terribly so, back in the XF days. Good think Punk told me you were good people, and even better now that I get to read your oft-hilarious LJ.

21. See above, though I don't know you as well.

22. I discovered you one random afternoon on my interests list, and I've been following your soap opera with great voraciousness ever since. Your strength, faith, and honesty astound me, and I know beyond a doubt that there's a healthy true love waiting for you.

23. You, on the other hand, are crazy, but in the best possible way. You crank out stories like sausages and they're gourmet. You're also the empress of good titles. There's no doubt in my mind you'll go far.

24. Ah, tiny love, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving girl. Or a more brilliant one. L'chaim.

25. See above, and welcome to the (semi-social) neighborhood. It's always good to have you around.

26. You're beautiful, strong, and brilliant. And the day you realize that, you're gonna bring the world to its knees.

27. You're an amazing writer and an incredible artist. I'm so proud of you. ^^

28. I miss you, my girl, and I'd have chased you to the airport to say goodbye after you got all your points, too.

29. With your fic, you can always be counted on to do the least expected, the most twisted, and the most excellently executed. Thanks for that, and for a snappy LJ and an excellent recs page besides.

30. YOU we lost to the annals of boyband slash, but I don't despair. I worship your writing, from anime through TPM, so I suppose...

31. On the other hand, it's too late for you. *g* Good thing I'm so fond of you, and the way you care for my girl.

32. Congratulations. You rock, and I'm so excited for what lies ahead for you.

33. How are you, little girl? I haven't spoken to you in ages, and I worry, you know.

34. You're too smart and talented to be so young. Your character analyses and fic blow me away.

35. I don't know you, though I've had you on my Friends list for a while now. You always offer sharp, scathing insight on everything from books to politics to video games, and your journal's a pleasure to read.

36. The wretched heathen will thank you, someday, for saving their immortal souls.

37. I'm sure you mean to be nothing but dead seriously informative about the exotic culture in which you're studying, but seriously, your entries make me laugh until I pee.

38. You and I have witnessed more (flame) wars and sticky (fandom) politics than some Times correspondants. You're a champion debater and an excellent writer, and it's a privilege to serve by your side.

39. Crazy, yes, but only in the most affectionate sense. You're a marvelous novelist, and also one of the best shoulders to cry on. Thanks for both of those things.

40. I wonder who you might be.

41. I'm quite enjoying watching your romantic saga unfold as well, and your recent lists of resolutions are ones I could afford to keep myself.

42. I miss you. Come visit. We'll go dancing and find you a nice young man to take home. *g*

43. My friends knew you in XF, but I've only recently discovered you, in the vicinity of WW. You're sharp as a tack.

44. You're a glorious poet, and a wonderful, gentle human being. I never knew you before LJ, but now I'm so glad I do.

45. You've got great taste in music, and you're good to my girl. That makes you a-ok by me.

46. Your writing makes me swoon, though there's far too little of it for my taste. Your politics make me think, and that's something we could all use a little more of.

47. O girl my girl, just thinking about you makes me grin from ear to ear. Come visit! Both of you! Now!

48. Didn't get to talk to you much, when I was in town ages ago. So make it up to me by LJing more, will you?

49. See here, you're brand-new too. I found your journal on a book search; I stayed because your writing is spiky and tart and straightforward, and I love to read what you have to say.

50. We met once, e-mailed maybe twice, but your LJ makes me feel I know you. And since we live in the same city, we should make it official, no?

51. I wish you a great job, a fabulous date, and time to write. I miss chatting it up with you on AIM in the old days.

52. You are braver than you know, after a tough year, and I've got nothing but good things to say. I wish you happiness and love, and a great new city in which to make a great start.

53. We were pioneers together once. You don't blog enough, but when you do, I love your meaty, lengthy posts.

54. My sister! Except with a hat. Come back soon, I miss you like crazy, and when we're frightened, we can hold on to each other and make everything a little more okay.

55. You're a goddamned fucking riot, and I wish I talked to you more often. You're also one of the best writers I knew in XF.

56. You're another one I don't know well, because you were coming into WW just as I was leaving that fandom. But your writing impresses me, and my friends are your friends, so I look forward to getting to know you.

57. Pork rinds.

58. Why, you're also a stranger, but in hard (Farscape) times, we gotta stick together. No?

59. I love you. So much. And it's just...but you know. With the busy and the, yeah. It's okay. Because I love you. So much.

60. Brave, tough, kick-ass, warped, political, talented, fucked up, empowered, ambitious, adventuresome, tiny.

61. You're one of the best Farscape writers we have. Twisted, indeed.

62. Not only are you good to my girl, you're also a talented WW writer and a considerate, kind, honest member of the community.

63. You ARE my girl! Zox. ZOX.
