01. What is your favorite word?
Brilliant. Particularly if it applies to me.

02. What is your least favorite word?
Toss up between "fine" and "please." Which both have the power to maim and/or kill.

03. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
I like to read things other people have written, to say "I could do that better." I like to play games, particularly for money. I like it when people crack me up. I want to hear a funny story, over poker.

04. What turns you off?
Pathos. Patheticness. Ineffectuality. Begging.

05. What is your favorite curse word?
I'm diggin' on "Fuckin' A"

06. What sound or noise do you love?
The silence of snow. The satisfying click of ivory mahjongg tiles. The sound of a deck of cards shuffling. The glug of a big water cooler bottle being upturned.

07. What sound or noise do you hate?
Birds chirping. Too many people clamoring at me at once.

08. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I would make a kick-ass interior decorator. I'd do it, too, except you have to go to school. But if any of you want your houses/rooms remodeled...

09. What profession would you not like to do?
Tend bar. I can't be flirty, friendly, or fake. And you gotta be one of the three if you want money.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"You did good down there. We have special projects for you to do here, too."

09. What profession would you not like to do?
Tend bar. I can't be flirty, friendly, or fake. And you gotta be one of the three if you want money.

This is my feeling about waitressing. My friends used to waitress to make extra money while working at ET, and they'd make more in 2 nights waitressing or cocktail waitressing than they did in a 40-hour week at ET. But I have the 3-strikes rule against waitressing, which is 1) I am clumsy; 2) I am forgetful; and 3) I hate people. So like you, I was going, uh, what kind of tips could I possibly make, with people who I'd brought the wrong order, then spilled on them, and didn't make nice to about it?? Heehee.
