I'm watching Forest Whittaker's updated Twilight Zone. Tonight's episode's the remake of "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street," except of course this time it's terrorist threats, because those new neighbors bought pita bread and "that shows they're not from around here" and because the terror alert's up to orange and "scared people band together" and these neighbors refuse to toe the party line.

Anyway, things I love. G. Step. TV.

And just because scared people band together doesn't mean scared people stand by a bellicose and corrupt goverment.

But what is that smell, anyway? like burning plastic?
