2. Trying to explain Sorkin's addled Sports Night timeline with runpunkrun and coming up with a Rounder map that doesn't even make sense to us. Apparently Dan and Casey met when Dan was ten years old and had just graduated college. Meanwhile, Casey had been married and divorced already, and they were in Dallas, except Dana was in LA with Casey at the time.

3. Sitting in the hotel bar with _maayan at the tail end of last year's Farscape convention, being armchair psychologists.

4. XF "Requiem" at qowf's house, gripping the window frame white-knuckled, with Fi, so we could smoke.

5. The day Potus and Leo discovered Copperplate Gothic Bold. Also, italics.

6. Ballfield somewhere in...Indiana? With wearemany and a notebook and a laptop, writing "Fan Interference..."

7. "My Fandom" icons.

8. Anything prillalar says about Harry Potter. And the Jedi.

9. Being gifted with the first season of Jeremiah by the marvelous gem225, then sitting in Boston with G and G and G and talking fandom.

13. The ASCEM flamewar that turned into Trek Smut University, singing "Bitch" on a hayride with Jen in Mississippi, and anyone who still writes K/Du.

You *R* SMRT. Now tell me this. Has anyone tried to make Voldemort James Potter yet? (or, rather, make James Potter Voldemort) And if so, how'd that turn out?

I haven't seen that, though this fandom is huge and I'm really on the fringes of it, so that doesn't mean it hasn't been tried.

Are you thinking of James == Voldemort all the way along? Or maybe assuming his place at some point?

I wonder if that could be worked. Dumbledore would have to know. But that doesn't mean he'd have to tell anyone else.

Yeah, all the way along. Killed Lily but couldn't kill Harry because of the bonds of love. Snape knows, Dumbledore knows, but neither can tell Harry. Hell, this requires a whole new LJ entry. Stay tuned. *g*

we never went near indiana. it was KCMO, and this weekend i read the first chapter of underworld and, dude, it has JEdgar POV. what we were missing all along.
