So I was actually gonna *invent* this meme but it seems someone beat me to it. Since I tend to take visual snapshots of my imaginary computer friends (that'd be y'all) and they appear, much like my impressions of various fandoms do, in colors and textures and icons.

prillalar, for example, who I've never met in person, looks like Captain Hook to me. And wearemany, with whom I've shared a bed countless times and who I could sketch with my eyes closed, still, in this box, looks like Russell Crowe shouting about REARS AND VICES. qowf, one of my very first fandom-real-life crossover people, will always be Aragorn, to the point where when I was watching RotK, every time Viggo came on the screen I half expected Lucas to be perched on his hip with a cute hat on.

So what about me? Past or present icons, or see them here; what does Sab look like? Which of my icons best represents me?

Lord, we'd have some royalties, wouldn't we? This has cracked me up more than I can tell you. Although I am honored. And glad. And happy and all that.

I see you in swirls of snow, I see you in casinos, nursing a beer at 10 a.m., smoking a cigarette and laughing. You are always wearing your ankle length khaki pants and an interesting necklace. I think of you driving across mountains in Europe and across America.

As for fandom, you are, and always will be Mulder to me. But not the MSR Mulder, but the snarky, doomed, sharp as a tack Mulder that never, EVER, calls Scully "Dana." The good Mulder. The Mulder that takes chances and would drink a beer with you at the casino. Balls out Mulder.

Hmm... didn't you used to have a little dark haired girl on a red background, like prillalar does? That's how I always pictured you (even though we did, in fact, meet once). Or your stoner!Scully. Whenever I saw the stoner!Scully, I knew it was you.

I *did* have the dark-haired-girl (Emily's her given name) for a long time, back in the early days! Same as Hal's, but with cats instead of an 8-ball.

The funny thing is that the stoner!Scully is runpunkrun's, though we did make that set of icons together. And we're often mistaken for one another. I used to have a Scully "all in a day's work" from "Three of a Kind" with all the casino boys trying to light her cigarette. I miss that icon, I'm going to need to re-upload it when I get home. But my guess is you conflated those and conflated Punkensab, as so often happens. *g*
