...I'm going to Portland. That's in Oregon. I'm going Jan. 23 through 26th and staying in a hotel on SW Broadway that circusgirl helped me find. runpunkrun and I are going to do everything one does in Portland, especially if it snows. I think it's quite possible I haven't seen runpunkrun in TWO YEARS. Which ain't right, and it's about goddamned time, and it better, better keep snowing till I get there, because I take one (1) snow pilgrimage a year, and this is it.

I'd also love to see shaye, whattaya say? Since all I know's that suelac is obsessed with your haircut. *g*

ETA: This was pene's plan, by the way. Which is to say, she said to me, "you should go to Portland!" And here I go.

Now, in unrelated news. Because I've gotten giftage from various and sundry LJ people I've never even met, and because it's the season of giving (that is to say, three weeks before my birthday):

Anyone want the VHS Boxed Set of Band of Brothers? My DVDs showed up, and I've got this lovely "For Your Consideration" 5-VHS ten hour boxed set free to whoever wants it. I've also got the bonus DVD material taped on a VHS tape that I'll include, because some of it (see: "Ron Livingston's Video Diaries") is just too cute to miss, and some of it (see: "We Stand Alone Together," the documentary on the real Toccoa men) is fucking brill.

ETA2: This is, of course, Region 1/NTSC format.

Anyway, lemme know.

I hope you enjoy yourself. I used to live in the Portland area, and it's one of my favorite cities. But don't hold your breath on the snow. They get usually a total of two weeks of proper winter a year, and between this and the bit just before Thanksgiving, I think they'll have used it all up.

Pene had a good plan. And I have recently had a haircut. Fortunately it's essentially the same cut I had when C. was here.

Although if we still have snow then I may, tragically, have to kill myself. You might want to plan a trip to Mt. Hood to play in the snow and drink hot chocolate.

Yesterday's event did not require an actual tail. I was quoting "The Wizard of Oz," but very, very obscurely. Which happens to me sometimes, and damn it, I have pneumonia! PNEU-FUCKING-MONIA!

Juno is being slow as a greased toilet paper tube pig but I have BETA for you. I will say here and now, until I can send the thing, that I want it to end on Clark and not Lois. So do you. And I don't have a lot of other big concerns. So!
