1 liberty plaza

sabWell, I'm a little spooked. I took the train in on 14th street but at Union Square the smoke came in -- I was told the winds shifted north and so all the smoke was blowing uptown.
got out of the subway, shared a cab with a guy who works at 1 Liberty Plaza (across the street from WTC #7), who was saying he wants to get down there -- he was talkign about how he had paintings and some personal stuff in his office, his computer, etc, and he wants to get down there once the rescue crews clear out, wants to go into his office and find his stuff.
Except now on the news, they're telling me it looks like 1 Liberty Plaza's going to fall. poor guy, with his paintings, you know?
I can smell the smoke here in Westchester. I'm home with my family. thank god.
