So I made this icon, and then I wrote this tutorial on how it happened.

Upon reflection, I think I may have added too much cyan.

But on the other hand, it was enough of a reward to inspire me to do a good portion of my taxes. Also, finding a shrink. Preferably a free one.

You are amazing with the Photoshop. The resulting icon is way cool but learning how you did it is almost as cool.

I chug along with Paint Shop Pro and learn something new most every time I try to use it. I've never been artistic but I've always wanted to mess with words and pictures. I made a zillion collages that looked like ransom notes had mated with 16 magazine, back in the day. Thus, my pash for icons.

Maybe icon making is therapy? Cheaper than a shrink. Having no health insurance, I can just make do with warez and LJ, I think. I get by with a little help from my friends.

Sorry to butt in, but I'm having a bit of trouble crediting this Icon, cause I don't remember who made it, and I was wondering - yes, I have to ask - if you made it? Cause I have narrowed my list people who might've made it to you and one other person - and yes, I want to use this Icon so I have to credit - and if it was or wasn't you, then it should be clear. Anyway, did you make this one?

I didn't! It's adorable though. I feel like I vaguely remember it from c_t -- did you ask [livejournal.com profile] suckeriove? Didn't she post somewhen she showed up?

Hmm. Thanks for the tip, I haven't yet asked her.

On the other hand, I *did* make the Wintersnix "over there" icon you have with "credit unknown" -- and I totally don't mind, just, if you were curious. *g*

Writing

Hey Sab,

Took this quiz...which can supposedly determine your gender from your writing style. It said I was probably male, which is right...but I notice that I'm almost equally male and female. It would make sense, because I'm bisexual and not exactly the typical crotch-scratching, insensitive male.

I expanded it to analyze my writings. Turns out that most of my non-fiction ends up the same way...slightly more male than female...but upon analyzing my fiction, the program claims that I'm female.

If you're interested. :)

Uh, Sab? Sorry to bug you, but could you email me (mailto:katherin@columbus.rr.com) the ftp password, so I can upload more BoB screencaps? I've forgotten it. [headdesk]
