Because if there's one thing we can all get behind, it's alt-country, I'm sharing Mindy Smith's "It's Amazing," a catchy little number I first heard on my aforementioned country music radio station, LA's KZLA, 93.9.

This is a straight-up, happy, agreeable little song, and Mindy Smith draws comparisons more to the likes of Kasey Chambers and Gillian Welsh than to any of the neo-contemporary country artists on KZLA.

Dude, I just got her album and love it muchly. She has a touch of the Alison Krauss, but I suppose any sweet-voiced blugrassy singer would.
