where Sabine makes amends*
Nov. 28th, 2004 03:30 pm*to her wishlist.
I figure this. I figure, the following. Everyone in the LJ world must have clothing they're sick of, have outgrown, or that's riddled with unpleasant associations of late-night bar-hopping with sinister ex-boyfriends, or that the kidlet left behind when she went off to college with her new hipster jive. That being said, here's five more items on my wishlist, because, y'know, I was a'sposed'ta get ten anyway. Also, perhaps I'll inspire. Oh, and
nestra, I have a Perry Cox icon in the percolator for you, and a couple other regalos por las otras, esperan, esperan...
Now then!
1. A zip hoodie sweatshirt, size children's XL or adult S. Any variety would be lovely.
2. A pullover sweatshirt, crewneck, either haute couture or, like, old-skool Champion style. Children's XL or adult S.
3. Dickies! Any color! Waist 30ish is usu. good. 32 is even better. 34 is quite user-friendly as well. Any bigger and I'll drown. *g*
4. Black jeans! Preferably cut for a man? 32/32 is always good. Nothing shorter than 32 or they'll be clamdiggers on me.
5. Long-sleeved t-shirts of any stripe. Henleys or rugby shirts, too, even. Also things with designs and beads on. Also, you know, not. Children's XL or adult S.
*
Quid pro quo, Dr. Lechter, I have a good deal of clothing I'm willing to part with, so iffen you're interested in trading, lemme know what you're looking for?
I am freezing my proverbial nuts off.

Date: 2004-12-01 07:46 am (UTC)Meanwhile, dressing up and drowning our sorrows sounds marvelous. You'll have to let me know, closer to your arrival, how long you'll be in town and which days you're free so we can coordinate.

Date: 2004-12-04 06:56 pm (UTC)All this being said I am a huge Tolkien fan, and have been since I was 10. I think it is important for people to remember the actors are NOT the characters in the books and just because we pay for a bit of their time we do not own them

Date: 2004-12-04 10:52 pm (UTC)At the risk of feeding the bs I offer the following clarification. The term 'tinhat' with regard to the LOTR actors specifically refers to fans who believe the actors are in romantic relationships with each other, in various combinations.
complete OT, but I had to share:
