Ah. #5 is courtesy of moi, "Lay Me Down" by The Frames.

And #19 is "The Asshole Song" by Jude.

Also, the cut-tag text is "Rick James" by Jude. *g*

And I knew the BNL one as well, of course.

And! (To continue a theme in first words of sentences) I'm very interested to learn that Snow Patrol covered a Bright Eyes song. Because I love Snow Patrol and really sort of hate Bright Eyes, but I think he writes some interesting songs.

Also, I've been drinking. *g*

I love that Frames song. Actually, I nabbed them all, the ones you sent, and I love them ALL. I'm partial to "Santa Maria" and "What Happens When The Heart Just Stops." Thank you!

In my personal, rockstar, opinion, the Snow Patrol cover is approximately eight SKILLION times better than the Bright Eyes version. It's got so much more feeling to it.

And I think my favorite Frames song you posted was Revelate. Because it's screamy. I'm apparently on a screamy kick lately.

Hm. There is also a fantastic screamy song they do called "Stars Are Underground." Perhaps I'll upload it when I get a chance. *g*

No, Bright Eyes is not so much about feeling as it is about sound. I've never really taken to his music either, though it's okay if you're looking for some nice music to kill yourself by. I put a song or two of his on a Smallville mix I'm making for Lex.

So very glad I'm not the only one. Sometimes it feels like it.
