Home from the desert, where fmangel, wearemany and I watched Veronica Mars, drank tequila, mainlined painkiller and swam in the pool. It's hailing in LA. I'm sending resumes at record clip. Caught a googling meme from a passing channe that suggests:

Sab needs to be recomputed.
Sab needs to be more of a support body for sponsors than a regulatory body.
Sab needs YOUR help in conquering bad music and awakening the world from its coma state!

Sab needs to acquire a world brand if it wants to stay up there among the world's biggest brewers.
Sab needs to work on posters and fliers and emailing listserves.
Sab needs to go to see some performance art.

Sab needs several volunteers at each home game.
Sab needs to be more clear for blonde EBS members!
Sab needs to file a request with the lending library.
Sab needs you! SAB needs you! SAB needs you!

Sab needs counseling: (8:3 "His left hand should be under my head,and his right hand should embrace me.")
Sab needs to be placed under control somehow, right now it's just too powerful.

A) I got the job hooray!

B) I'm so glad you're watching VM. Now that I will shortly have a source of income again, S1 DVDs are my first order of business.

C) You recced me a couple of good sushi places near my apartment, and I somehow lost the names. Remind me? I've been to the sushi counter at the Whole Foods at Fairfax and Santa Monica a few times, and it's decent, but I am deprived.

My fave: Yamakasa, Franklin and Highland, just before the 101. Go up Highland past HOllywood, past the church with the red ribbon, shopping center on your right.

Noshi Sushi is another great Hollywood secret -- come down Beverly heading East past Western, you'll see it on your right at about...Kingsley? I dunno. But you'll see it on your right, it's brown and boarded-up looking and looks SUPER shady and is some of the best sushi in town.

I can't remember the name, I think it starts with an M in the shopping center on 3rd at La Cienega, across from Old Navy and the BEverly Connection. There's a small shopping center on the south side of 3rd with two sushi places in it -- I like the sushi place on the left, good and not too expensive.
