I'm sorry, did people not make it clear about the hand-holding?

I have finished season one of Doctor Who, and I accidentally love it (and can hear runpunkrun's heart breaking all the way down here, but it's okay, I promise, I'm not writing any DW fic! untilafterwefinishtheBuganyway), at least the Ninth doctor, and largely because, um -- did someone tell me about the hand holding and I missed it? They must have. It's my own fool stupidity, but on the off chance there's others out there dumb like Sab, listen up, bitches:

The Doctor and Rose hold hands, for no real reason, all the fucking time! This is one big show about British people holding hands and running down the street and...fighting crazy time aliens! And holding hands!

When I close my eyes, Rose and Nine are skipping down some street in London or some satellite in the year five billion, and every single time, they're holding hands. Do you -- are you listening, world?

(I got my S1 eps from the generous settiai, as well as the first four S2s, anybody know where I can get the rest of S2?)
