who do you want to come with us?
Mar. 3rd, 2002 03:50 pmAnd Luna's giving me titles.
Parents. Tonight, John Vanderslice at the Olde Club (!!). Old e-mails from Julie.
And then, getting reinvented in Maayan's blog, or mudwrestling, or maybe not.
But regardless, (thank you, thank you, SdS) I saw "Dog With Two Bones." more on that later. Simply put, I don't think it's x vs. a-z. I think it's a box of crayons, and sometimes you need brown. Sometimes it's a brown sort of day. and really, the hero of the morning after is the Great American Hero anyway. I mean, it's not 1950 anymore. And this guy, he's just, I don't think he's that kind of hero either. I think he's a white boy who can't go back, because he knows things now. So when he can't stay either, sometimes he just goes back into that crayon box and feels around for brown. Because it's there. Which isn't to say that his character, his personality, isn't informed by all the other colors too. But he's lost, and he's gotta color his world the way it makes the most sense today.
In other news, Proust and Camus are not fic writers, and Pene didn't know them either.
Wait for me.
