I have already seen Casanova, but I'm exposing Liz to the marvel. My nutshell reaction is: AWESOME AWESOME but also NOT NEARLY GAY ENOUGH!

But I'm not a trustworthy reviewer at the moment, because my unyielding LUST for DAVID TENNANT in ALL HIS MULTITUDINOUS FORMS prevents me from any real critical thinking. I call him This Year's Love because that's about how long I anticipate it will take me to get over this one.

AND SO, I have downloaded 6 and 4 (thank you!!) and am waiting for 5 and positively salivating and subjecting fmangel to my replaying of my favorite musical numbers from the first three, despite only having them in horrible greasy blurry wmv. In FACT, if you could SOME DAY (no hurry!) see fit to upload me the first three, I'd love to have the avis.

I will try and think a little more reasonably about Blackpool and Casanova and post some more thoughts on the subject, but at the moment my general impression is that Ten is just a tremendously talented actor who is going to BLOW UP within the year, mark my words. Which I'm a little terrified of, because we'll lose him to the adoring masses and he'll probably make the jump to pursue a bigger film career and *sigh.*

In conclusion: you are SUPER AWESOME. What did you think of Casanova? Or Blackpool? Or Ten in general, for that matter?

and i have been infected with the david tennant LOVE!!! LOVE HIM!! simply LOVE... *sigh* I totally agree with you that he's a tremendous actor and there's simply not enough of him on tv.. I'd personally love to see him in one of the BBC ShakespeaRetold versions, but i'm not sure they're doing those anymore.

I LOVE him as Ten and I seriously love his flawed character with the oral fixation in Blackpool. Those two, i have a deep place for in my heart. The musical numbers? with The Smiths? and the choreographed dancing?? *sigh* LOVE! But, Casanova, for some strange reason, almost bored me... I dunno why. and I'm even a sucker for Rupert Penry-Jones from spooks and don't get me started on Peter O'Toole who is just amazing, but still I was more ehh about it.
