> Doogie Howser, M.D. was a half-hour drama.

And Neil Patrick Harris is AMAZING. I've only been watching seasons 3 and 4, as he's grown up into a man. I have a definite kink he hits, the sandy-haired deservedly arrogant genius, like Peter Krause, or Peter Stebbings, or to a greater degree, David Tennant. Where he overacts, just a little, with that kind of confident intelligence that makes my knees weak. At the end of the day it's a privilege to have Neil Patrick Harris with us on the gay team, ijs.

Ahaha! I'm downloading S1 right now! (Well, not now, 'cause it's paused while SGA is going, but, you know.)

I was too young the first time 'round, but, somehow I always remember the episode where he and Wanda decide not to have sex.

Whoa, I was definitely too young the first time around and yet I totally remember that episode, and practically no others. Mass formative experience?

It's really that scene at the end, writing in his diary, and there's something about saying "those three little words": Let's not do it, but that's four words, so he puts the last two together: Let's not doit.

Um.

I was just the right age the first time around, and had a huge crush on Doogie. I just saw that ep with Wanda a few days ago, and it's still satisfying. On a whole, season one was hard to watch (campy and too young), I skipped season two, season 3 was FANTASTIC and totally holds up, (I mean, except for the relentless moralism, but that was built in to the show) and season 4 was great too, as NPH just grows up and gets hotter and hotter. I recommend it. Let me know what you think when you finish downloading!

Dude, he wasn't overacting. He was a teenager. They're like that. *g*

Also, the best thing about "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" just might be the scene where Harold tells the asshole cop that Neil Patrick Harris stole his car, and the asshole cop goes, "NPH wouldn't do that!!"

Well, by overacting I really mean that kind of confident "not afraid to show his acting" acting. Some of the more arrogant, and usually brilliant, actors that I love employ that technique, where they just swagger in, counting on their repertoire of facial expressions and delivery without a care in the world.

And that story is so awesome. NPH *would* never do that!
