My neighbors moved out today, in an abrupt race to get away from some gang warfare on our block; it's pretty ugly.

They took the internet with them, so now I have no internet at home. Also still no car.

Kelly, my other neighbor, says she has seen coyotes all over our block this week. I haven't seen Hawkeye now in like two weeks. Everytime I think about it I start to cry. Whoops, there I go again. MY FURBYCAT! MY BOY! God. I miss him SO MUCH.

I have a new job with a pr firm! Which I can't GET to because she's in, like, ENCINO. I'm working on that right now. I'm still working for Tokyopop and am starting a new manga book shortly.

This is the first time in recallable history that I have had JOBS and not anything else! It's always been the other way around. I'm not sure which one's better.

So I am moving to Toronto this year if it kills me. I need to get a job before I move, so I can cross the border with a work visa. PLEASE, INTERNETS, help me out? Get me the hell out of LA?

I'm not going to buy another car here, or get a new apartment here (despite the gangs), and the jobs are horrible here, and I am SO OVER LA. GET ME OUT OF HERE.

And please tell the cosmos to be good to my Hawkeye? To make sure he's in a better place, and has all the catnip and chicken he needs...?

I gotta go home now. I won't have internet there. Call me, willya?

I doubt it helps you, but I have had many cats come and go over the past 10 years ... and it always turned out that they had simply gone down the street to take up residence with another family. One time, the wayward kitty got tired of competing with the other cats at my house, one time because the kitty liked having the little kids in that house to play with during the day while I was at work, and another time because the cat hated the smell of my newly refinished/stained floors. In each case, I eventually (once, it took as long as 6 months) found out where the cat was. The little buggers were perfectly fine and happy in their new home. I would be willing to bet Hawkeye came across some elderly lady (or a little kid) who took it home, thinking he was lost.
